Koba Grim is the soul-work of Matthew Wade Moody — an artist, producer, and storyteller born in Georgetown, Ohio, and shaped by the wild spirit of Ludowici, Georgia. Abandoned in the woods as a toddler, his life was saved by an unlikely guardian angel — a Great Dane named Toy. From those first battles for survival through years in foster care, Matthew carried a fierce will to endure. He served five years in the U.S. Navy after 9/11, kept his promise to himself, and later fought through homelessness to earn his college degree with honors during the COVID pandemic. Now, back in the small town where it all began, Koba Grim weaves his journey into constellations of sound, story, and style. Every song is a universe, Every handcrafted piece a memory, every thread a prayer. Pain, faith, and the dream of something greater echo through it all — the living proof that from the darkest woods, a new world can rise.
